Welcome to "Sound Express" from TigerSpeech Technology

"Sound Express" is a self-paced software program designed for cochlear implant and hearing aid users that allows them to practice and develop their listening skills at their own pace and convenience. The program is interactive and provides sound samples, discrimination and identification exercises, tests and feedback for eight different modules. The comprehensive database includes tones, environment sounds, monosylloabic words, sentences, musical instruments and familiar tunes. Focused on listening skills, "Sound Express" is designed to compliment a program for hearing rehabilitation. "Sound Express" is a software program based on the Computer-Assisted Speech Training program (CAST) developed by House Ear Institute and TigerSpeech Technology.

 

Latest Updates of Sound Express:

Beta Version 4.01.03 is available for downloading. The latest version allows the switch between Internet-mode and PC-mode. Here summerizes the difference between these two modes.

I. Internet-based Version:

• All testing and training data are saved in Central Server and the user can access the data from any computer with "Sound Express".

• Internet Connection is Required.
• Username and Password is required. The Minutes in each account determines whether the user can use the program or not.

II. PC-based Version:

• NO internet connection is required. The user can run the program anytime after activation.
• Serial number and Product key is needed to activate the PC mode. Activation Key is needed for using the PC version.
• All Testing and Training data are saved in local computer. The user have to use this computer to access the previous training data.
